RANCHO ALAMITOS TOURNEY

Royal 62, Irvine 47: Irvine (4-2) was led by Jalen Yim, who had 15 points in the championship game. Yim, Jason An and Cooper Stearns were named to the all-tournament team.

Northwood 53, Tustin 45: The Timberwolves (4-1) captured third place. Justin Liu had 18 points, five rebounds and three steals, Ryan Abaye had 13 points, three rebounds and two steals, Zaid Yunis had 10 points, four rebounds and TJ Navarro eight points for Northwood. Tustin was led by Taven Epps, who scored 10 points and Terrelle Morales, who had eight points.

FEAST WEEK AT MARINA

Cypress 73, Tesoro 54: Cypress (3-1) came away with a victory over Tesoro at the Feast Week Challenge hosted by Marina and Foothill. Cypress was led by Ryan Gov and Kingston Birdsong who had 18 points and Michael Wright who had another double double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. 

“I thought we played well as a unit. It was great to get Jonah Kim back,” said Cypress Coach Derek Mitchell. “He’s such a dynamic player, who does so much that doesn’t come up in the stat book. He runs our team offensively and defensively.”

Cypress is off until Friday, Dec. 1 when it hosts highly ranked Los Alamitos at 7 p.m.

Tesoro (2-3) was led by Ben Pangilinan with 10 points, Jaxon Perry and Todd Nelson with eight points each.

EDISON AFTER THANKSGIVING EVENT

Foothill 67, Newport Harbor 58: The Knights improved their record to 3-2 overall. Travis Paleo who had 16 points, was named player of the game. Mansur McClain had 13 points, Danny Kennard 10 points and five rebounds, Isaiah Bernard 10 points and six rebounds and Lorenzo Turner eight points.

The Knights are back in action on Friday, Dec. 1, hosting crosstown rival Beckman.

BEACH BONANZA

Crean Lutheran 60, Pacifica Christian 49: The Saints (1-2) were led by Kaiden Bailey, who had 30 points and Braeden Davidson, who had 14 points.

COSTA MESA SHOWCASE

JSerra 88, Costa Mesa 46: The Lions were led by Aidan Fowler, who had 17 points. Diego Martinez had 13 points, Sebastian Rancik 11 points and Korin Hull 10 points.

Troy 80, University 59: Troy’s leading scorers were Terry Ahn (21 points), Vander Ploog (17 points), Josh King (13 points) and Andre Taberna (12 points, four 3-pointers). University’s top scorers were Shervin Moarrefian with 13 points and Isaac Evans and Christian DeBarge with 12 points each. Andrew Bogard had eight points. Ahn and Evans were named players of the game by Costa Mesa Coach Jesse Mercado.
