The 30th edition of the Nike Extravaganza presented by Mater Dei High School begins on Friday, Jan. 24 at the Meruelo Athletic Center at Mater Dei.
Top boys basketball teams from throughout California, Arizona and Nevada will participate in the two-day event. Mater Dei’s boys team will have two games and Mater Dei’s girls team will have one game.
Among the match-ups involving Orange County games include Colony vs. Villa Park Friday at 3 p.m., Los Amigos vs. San Juan Hills Friday at 4:30 p.m., Mater Dei vs. Servite Friday at 9 p.m., Dana Hills vs. Aliso Niguel Saturday at 9 a.m., Orange Lutheran vs. Village Christian Saturday at 10:30 a.m., Damien vs. San Clemente Saturday at noon, Los Alamitos vs. Foothill Saturday at 3 p.m., and Mater Dei vs. Crean Lutheran Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for Friday’s session are $12 and reserved seats are available Saturday for $20. Open seating tickets are available for $12.
