Mater Dei and Pacifica Christian to meet in finals of Beach Bash Tourney at CdM

Mater Dei and Pacifica Christian boys basketball teams will meet in the championship game of the Beach Bash Tournament Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. at CdM.

Pacifica Christian (9-1) defeated Los Osos 61-56 to advance to the finals while Mater Dei (5-0) topped Edison 82-36.

The full schedule for Saturday at Corona del Mar:

11 a.m.: Clovis vs. Steveston-London

12:30 p.m.: Corona del Mar vs. West Torrance

2 p.m.: University vs. Valley View

3:30 p.m.: Santa Barbara vs. Los Alamitos

5 p.m.: Third place, Los Osos vs. Edison

6:30 p.m.: Championship, Mater Dei vs. Pacifica Christian
