It was a great week for University senior tennis standout Nour Khayat.
The UC Irvine commit played first doubles for the Uni tennis team against Northwood on Tuesday and won all three sets, according to University Coach John Kessler.
“She then swept at singles against Woodbridge yesterday (Wednesday) and Irvine today (Thursday) leading the Trojans to an 8-0 record and first place in the PCL,” Kessler said.
University, after having key players out due to injury, has captured eight straight matches after losing their opening match of the year to Corona del Mar 9-9 on games, Kessler added.
“Uni has climbed back to the top spot in the OC,” Kessler said.
