Tim Burt, OC Sports Zone
Tim Burt covered high school, youth and college sports in Irvine beginning in May of 1984 for the Irvine World News and also covered sports in Tustin for the Tustin News. He was also a sportswriter for the Orange County Register. Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Long Beach State and has been a resident of Orange County for more than 30 years. In 2016, he was one of 15 honorees selected to the Irvine Wall of Recognition. In his spare time, Tim enjoys watching college and professional sports and spending time with family and friends. He is looking forward to his new assignment as owner, editor and writer for the OC Sports Zone.
