The Grizzlies defeated Santa Ana Valley 2-0 Wednesday at Santa Ana Valley in the quarterfinal round and will face Mira Costa Saturday at Mira Costa.
Both Godinez goals scored were scored in the second half by senior forward Ivan Lopez, according to Athletic Director Lisa Treen.
“Godinez dominated the game with numerous shots on goal” Treen said. “Valley played great defense but couldn’t get many good shots on goal with Griz senior goalie Gabe Contreras fending off any efforts made.”Â
