OC Sports Zone running basketball highlights; here’s how to submit information

High school boys and girls basketball teams are beginning games this week in Orange County and OC Sports Zone would like to share scores and highlights every night with our readers.

Our football update page has been one of our most popular features and we plan to do much the same with basketball, only more frequently.

We will run the results the same night if we receive them between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.

After 11 p.m., the results will appear on the following day.

Here’s what we need from coaches and team representative:

—Final score (winning team first, losing team second)

—Three leading scorers for each team along with rebounding leaders and three-point leaders. Please include first and last names of all players.

—Team records.

—Optional: A quote from the winning coach.

OC Sports Zone will also be out covering games in the coming weeks. But we would appreciate the help of coaches so we can include as many scores and highlights as possible every night.
