SOUTH COAST LEAGUE
TESORO 67, SAN CLEMENTE 63: The Tritons (21-3, 4-0) took over sole possession of first place with the win at home Wednesday night. Max Draper had 19 points and 14 rebounds, Carson Hatch 22 points, Dean Mika 11 points and Anish Pagidyala eight points to lead Tesoro. Desi Gutierrez had 21 points and eight rebounds and Bryan Blake 17 points to lead San Clemente (13-10, 3-1).
SEA VIEW LEAGUE
ALISO NIGUEL 60, EL TORO 43: Jayden Mysin had 22 points and Jay Keys 11 points to lead league-leading Aliso Niguel (15-8, 4-0).
TRINITY LEAGUE
MATER DEI 81, ORANGE LUTHERAN 79: Mater Dei (15-9, 2-1) was led by Luke Barnett with 23 points and five 3-pointers, Richie Ramirez with 22 points, Zain Majeed with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Trey Price 10 points.
SANTA MARGARITA 102, SERVITE 69: Drew Anderson scored 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Kaiden Bailey had 25 points and six 3-pointers, Brayden Kyman 19 points and 10 assists and Jacob Sears 11 points and five rebounds to led Santa Margarita (22-3).
ST. JOHN BOSCO 56, JSERRA 50: The Lions (14-11, 1-2) were led by Jaden Bailes, who had 16 points and six rebounds. Ryan Doane had nine points and 12 rebounds and Isaiah Hill eight points.
PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE
IRVINE 59, LAGUNA BEACH 48: On senior night, the Vaqueros (13-10, 4-1) were led by Jalen Yim with 13 points. Holden Stearns had 12 points and Chase Brito 10 points.
NORTHWOOD 57, UNIVERSITY 51: University led much of the first quarter, but it was knotted at 14 all at the end of the first period. Northwood forged ahead to lead 33-27 at half. The Timberwolves went on a 7-0 run the first three-plus minutes of the third quarter to lead, 40-27, before University called time out.
The Trojans chipped away at the lead to trail, 50-42 at the end of the third quarter. With just a minute to go in the game, the Trojans narrowed the lead to 54-51. Northwood made a free throw, forced a turnover and got a late bucket for the final margin.
Northwood (10-11, 4-1) forced 18 turnovers which was the difference in the game. Northwood had four seniors in double figures: post player Adrian Elemento 16 points, four year varsity player Sam Alegre 13 points, shooting guard Dane Mortensen 11 points and transfer guard Ellis Malang 11 points.
University (6-15, 2-3) was led by sophomore forward Lucas Haun who had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds hitting four three-pointers.
Junior center Abdallah Shami had nine points, 19 rebounds (10 offensive) and five assists. Junior guard Nader Chalan had 13 points while his brother, sophomore guard Yousuf Chalan had eight points, three rebounds and four assists.
University honored five seniors on senior night: starting forward Josh Thio, center Kaden Moss, guard Keyshawn Hatami, forward Ethan Buenaseda and manager Fares Osman.
