Westminster High School’s boys basketball team notched its third Golden West League victory of the season Friday night defeating Segerstrom 91-62 at home.

“We started slow but once we turned up our energy and focus on the defensive end the game changed quick fast and in a hurry,” said Westminster Coach CJ Hollingsworth. “We can really guard when we want to.”
The Lions (10-8 overall) were led by Eric Hoang, who had 21 points and Sean Le, who had 16 points.
Matt Tran added 13 points, MJ Gaza 12 points and Peyton Pearson and Vincent Ton 10 points each. Westminster is one game behind league leading Godinez.
Segerstrom dropped to 6-14 overall and 2-2 in league play.,
