Calvary Chapel’s boys basketball team inched closer to capturing its second consecutive Orange Coast League title, defeating Orange 72-40 Wednesday night at Orange.
The league-leading Eagles (18-7, 7-0) can clinch the league title with a victory over Costa Mesa Friday night at 6:30 at Costa Mesa, according to Coach Jon Hughes.

Calvary Chapel won the league title last season with a 10-0 mark and finished 22-7 overall.
Ethan Hanning scored 19 points. Keshawn Johnson added 13 points and Brannon Berry 12 points to lead the Eagles past Orange.
