Senior Julien Franklin, who led Villa Park to the championship of the 24-team Grizzy Invitational, was named the MVP of the tournament Saturday night.
Greg Coombs, coach at Godinez and the tournament director, presented the awards after Villa Park defeated Yorba Linda 91-46 in the championship game.
Two of Franklin’s teammates, Cal Whitney and Maceo Reddick, were named to the all-tournament team.
