Servite’s boys soccer team, which already has a CIF Division title under its belt, was eliminated from the Southern California Division 1 Regionals Thursday, losing to Cathedral 4-2 in penalty kicks.
The Friars led Cathedral City after 40 minutes in the semifinal match Thursday. Cathedral came back to tie the match and send it into overtime.
