Buena Park (4AA) and St. Margaret’s (5AA) girls basketball teams are ranked No. 1 in their divisions in this week’s CIF polls released on Monday.
A number of other teams are ranked high in their divisions. Mater Dei is third, Sage Hill fifth and Rosary Academy 10th in the Division 1 poll.
In 2AA, San Clemente is third, San Juan Hills fourth and Fairmont Prep sixth. Portola is sixth and Cypress 10th in 2A, El Dorado is third, Sunny Hills fifth and Northwood eighth in 3AA, Calvary Chapel is fifth in 3A, La Habra is sixth, El Toro eighth and Irvine ninth in 4AA, Laguna Beach is fourth and Dana Hills ninth in 4A, Pacifica is seventh and Ocean View eighth in 5AA and Orange is seventh in 5A.
Mater Dei and Sage Hill are the Orange County teams listed in the open division.
