Three Orange County high school girls basketball teams earned top seeds in their divisions for the CIF playoffs that begin on Tuesday with wild card games and Thursday with first round games.
Trinity League runner-up Rosary is top seed in Division 1, Freeway League runner-up Buena Park is No. 1 in 4AA and Orange Coast League runner-up St. Margaret’s is No. 1 in 5AA.
A number of other OC teams earned high seedings.
Mater Dei is third and Sage Hill fourth in the open division. South Coast League champion San Juan Hills is third in 2AA, Pacific Coast League runner-up Portola is fourth in 2A, El Dorado is third in 3AA.
CIF finals will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Honda Center, Colony High School, Edison High School or Mira Costa High School.
