Foothill’s football team had a special year winning a league championship.
Foothill’s football team, which captured the North Hills League title under coach Doug Case, was well represented on the North Hills all-league team.
Foothill junior Gabe Gallardo, a wide receiver and defensive back, was named the league’s player of the year.
Knights’ running back Roman Pistone, a sophomore, was named the offensive player of the year and Knights’ linebacker Dylan Ventress, a senior, was named defensive player of the year.
Brea lineman Kion Marshall, a junior, was named the league’s lineman of the year and El Dorado’s DeVaughn Celestine, a senior, was named special teams player of the year.
