Kaiden Bailley receives another offer
Crean Lutheran point guard Kaiden Bailey announced Sunday that he has received another college offer from Washington State University.
Bailey recently told OC Sports Zone that he had received offers from UT-Arlington, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara and Seattle University.
The Saints’ star guard received plenty of exposure playing with his teammates in the prestigious Section 7 Tournament in Arizona last weekend and the California Live Tournament in Orange County the previous week.
San Juan Hills boys have winning weekend
San Juan Hills boys basketball team, coached by Jason Efstathiou, finished 5-1 in the UC San Diego Summer Camp Tournament, according to a report on Twitter. Mason Hodges, a 6-6 sophomore forward led the way for the Stallions, averaging 19.8 points and 10.2 rebounds and creating more interest among college coaches.
Hodges also stood out at the California Live Tournament in Orange County the previous weekend.
Cypress captures tournament crown
Coach Derek Mitchell’s Centurions won all four games at the Westmont Tournament in Santa Barbara last weekend to win their division. Cypress defeated Simi Valley 65-63 in the semifinals and Simi Valley 71-49 in the championship game.
