Sunny Hills High School’s football team notched its first victory of the season, defeating Brea Olinda 16-0 in a non-league game at Buena Park Friday night.
It marked the first win for new Sunny Hills Coach Dave Wilde.
Quarterback Larry Alvarez ran the offense effectively in his first start and Connor Irons had a crucial fumble recovery in the fourth quarter for the Lancers (1-2).
Sunny Hills had a 10-0 halftime lead. Brea Olinda dropped to 2-1.
