Trevor Ernt and Connor McGuire, two members of Beckman High’s Pacific Coast League championship team, will be among the players competing in the Orange County all-star baseball game Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Glover Stadium in Anaheim.

The two Patriots will be on the South team which will also include Irvine High’s Bubba Filia and Grant Lockwood.

Lockwood said Tuesday that the team had one practice on Saturday in preparation for the game.

“I know both boys are excited and honored about the opportunity to go out and play for the South,” said Beckman Coach Kevin Lavalle. ‘There is a ton of history behind that game, but for the current players I think they’re just thrilled that they get to feel that nervous excitement again.”

Among the North players are two members of Loara’s league championship team Patrick Monroe and Jacob Mendoza.
