All three Pacific Coast League football games have been postponed because of rain and lighting in the area, OC Sports Zone has confirmed.
The Northwood vs. Portola Pacific Coast League football game scheduled for tonight has been postponed because of rain and lighting, according to Northwood Athletic Director Phil Roh.
There was a 20 minute delay and the teams were about to start before more lighting was spotted, Roh said.
The game will be rescheduled Saturday at 2 p.m. at Irvine Stadium.
Also tonight, the Woodbridge-Beckman game after a 30-minute lightning delay, has been postponed at Tustin with Woodbridge leading 21-0 with 2:31 left in first quarter. We are waiting to hear a makeup date.

According to Beckman coach Marcello Giuiliano, there is no decision yet on whether the game will be made up or if Woodbridge will be awarded a victory. A ruling may have to be made by the CIF, he told Kyle Smith.
No decision is expected tonight.
Also, the Irvine-University game at University was postponed until Saturday at 4 p.m. at Uni.
And the Santa Ana-Saddleback game at Santa Ana Valley was also postponed because of heavy rain. No make-up has been announced.
Also, the Segerstrom-Marina game was also postponed and rescheduled for Saturday night at Segerstrom.
