Northwood’s football team improved its mark to 4-1 with a 51-20 victory over Cerritos tonight at Gahr High.
Northwood had a 44-12 halftime lead over Cerritos at halftime.
Quite a night for Northwood’s Seth Locke. In the first half, he had a 6-yard TD run, he hauled in an 18-yard TD pass, he threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Jaden Piazza and he had a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown. He also ran for a two-point conversion and threw a 2-point pass on the Timberwolves second TD.
Piazza,the quarterback for most of the plays, had two touchdowns and 166 yards in the first half.
