North Coach Zack LaMonda of El Dorado leads squad into OC all-star football game

North head coach Zack LaMonda from El Dorado is looking forward to leading his squad into the Orange County All-Star Football Classic presented by Costa Mesa United on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Orange Coast College.

“I am proud to be the head coach of the North team; this is a full circle moment for me,” said LaMonda, who was named OC coach of the year by the OC Varsity after leading the Golden Hawks to a runner-up finish in the CIF Division 7 in 2023. “I played in this game in 1997 and now have a chance to get this group of young men together to claim a victory for the North.

“We have a group of smart athletes and we are doing our best to put them in positions to be successful on Saturday Feb. 1 to win the game.”
