NEWPORT HARBOR 70, MARINA 64: The Sailors (14-5) won in double overtime in a Sunset Conference crossover game Wednesday night. Riggs Guy scored 17 points and Isaac Davis 17 points to lead Newport Harbor.
TESORO 69, MISSION VIEJO 41: The Titans (16-3, 1-0) won their South Coast League opener. Carson Brown scored 30 points, Blake Manning had 14 points and Jake Bennett 13 points to lead Tesoro.
SANTA MARGARITA 51, JSERRA 42: The Eagles captured a victory in the Trinity League opener. Jake Heberle scored 16 points, Rockwell Reynolds had 13 points and Kyle Evans scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Eagles.
ALISO NIGUEL 72, UNIVERSITY 42: The Wolverines captured a non-league victory. Tyler Weaver scored 24 points and Brandon Novida had 20 points to lead Aliso Niguel.
TRABUCO HILLS 52, SAN CLEMENTE 50: The Mustangs (10-7, 1-0) were led by Colin Duckens with 14 points, Nathan Tuttle with 11 points, Matt Mowers with eight points, Alex Gammo with five points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals and Jordan Nguyen with five points, five rebounds and five assists in the South Coast League game.
CALVARY CHAPEL 74, SANTA ANA 34: Ethan Hanning scored 21 points to lead the Eagles in the Orange Coast League opener. For story and photos, click here.
