It’s Thanksgiving break for many athletic teams this week but OC Sports Zone thought it would be a good time to revisit National Signing Day last week.
The Irvine ceremony took place at 7 a.m. Other events were held at lunch time and friends and family of the student athletes joined in on the big day.
It was the culmination of high school careers for many and all of the hard work they had put in to earn college scholarships. Some athletes still have spring seasons ahead as they finish up their athletic careers.
But for the families of the athletes, it was a proud moment as they watched the signing ceremony, many taking pictures.
We would like to thank the athletic directors of the schools who sent us pictures of signing day and to our readers for the tremendous response to these articles over a three-day period.
We can still share signing pictures with our readers. Please send to timburt@ocsportszone.com
But for now, we invite you to take one more look at a special day.
