Mater Dei fifth and Santa Margarita seventh in CIF Division 1 boys basketball polls

The CIF boys basketball polls are out. Mater Dei, which is competing in this week’s Beach Bash Tournament at Corona del Mar, is ranked fifth in Division 1 and Santa Margarita is ranked seventh.

In the 2AA rankings, Orange Lutheran is second and Villa Park, coming off a championship at the Grizzly Invitational, is ranked fourth.

Tesoro is fifth in the 2A division, Beckman 12th in the 3AA division and Sage Hill second in the 5AA division.
