The Irvine Pony Shetland baseball 6-under all-stars had a successful post-season run recently, winning the West Zone Super Regional Championship in West Covina and earning a berth in the World Series.
“We ended up ranked seventh out of over 200 teams,” said Manager Dustin Frisch.
The team’s coaches were Mike Penrod, Michael Panutich and Daniel Ruiz.
Members of the team were: Paxton Frisch, KJ Adloo, Finley Penrod, Michael Panutich, Champ Byun, Max Marin, Lucas Todd, Blake Fazeli, Ryan Gage, Jack Schmiesing, Russell Tchong and DJ Ruiz.
