Tuesday’s final scores and highlights for Ryan Lemmon Baseball Invitational

Day three of the Ryan Lemmon Invitational is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 at the Great Park.

The 32-team baseball tournament, sponsored by the Ryan Lemmon Foundation, began on Saturday with 16 games. It wraps up on Wednesday with the championship game.

The teams with the two best records advance to the championship game. If there is a tie, the tie-breaker of fewest runs allowed will be used, according to tournament director Dick Owens.

Gahr will meet Corona Centennial in the championship game Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Great Park.

Tuesday’s schedule:

Bountiful, Utah 2, Irvine 1

Woodbridge 3, Trabuco Hills 2: The Warriors (15-4 overall) got a strong pitching effort from Jake Amundson who struck out seven in four innings and did not allow an earned run. Justin Durby got the save with three innings of work. Jacob Perez had a solid day defensively for Woodbridge. Brandon Abernathy was 2 for 3 with an RBI.

San Clemente 5, Segerstrom 3

University 5, Davis 2: Austin Barnett had a solid pitching effort for the Trojans striking out 10 with no earned runs in six innings. Logan Rome had three strikeouts in one inning of relief for Uni, which is 2-1 in the tournament. University scored four runs in the sixth inning to break the game open.

Yorba Linda 10, San Juan Hills 1

Aliso Niguel 9, Northwood 4

Northview 13, Portola 0

Corona Centennial 4, El Toro 1

Gahr 6, Laguna Beach 0

Yucaipa 4, Edison 0: Yucaipa pitchers Josh Hickey and Raymond Garcia combined on a two-hit shutout. Wes Hickey was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI and Isiah Walz 2 for 4 with two stolen bases.

Citrus Valley 7, Canyon 4

Esperanza 8, Marina 1

Corner Canyon 9, Calvary Chapel 2

Ayala 6, Newport Harbor 3

Capistrano Valley 6, El Modena 1

Brea Olinda 4, Mission Viejo 3
