The Irvine High School Class of 1979, the first graduating class at the school was honored during the Irvine vs. Northwood game as was the Class of 1983, celebrating its 40th year anniversary at Irvine Stadium.
Some members of the 1979 football team attended the game, which was Irvine’s homecoming.

Also in attendance were former Irvine High quarterback Beck Moss and legendary coach Terry Henigan.
Moss (class of 2021) is in his second season as a quarterback at Santa Ana College and he is also in his second year as quarterback coach at Irvine High School for Coach Tom Ricci’s staff.
Moss’ younger brother, Deacon Moss, is Irvine’s wide receiver, defensive back and placekicker.
Henigan, along with his son Mark Henigan, also attended the game. Henigan, who was Irvine’s coach for 29 years, said he is living now in Mission Viejo.
