CREAN LUTHERAN 73, JOHN PAUL II (TEXAS) 64: The Saints (7-0) captured the Tarkanian Classic Gold Division championship Tuesday night. Koat Keat scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, Vyctorius Miller had 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Parker Tuttle had 14 points, four 3-pointers and four assists, Darrell Morris had 10 points and James Agany eight points and 10 rebounds.
Miller was named tournament MVP.
YORBA LINDA 57, TROY 51: The Mustangs captured a non-league victory Tuesday night. Tanner Yoon scored 12 points and Andrew DeZeeuw had 11 to lead Yorba Linda (7-7).
Troy (3-10) was led by Russell Chang who scored 10 points and Ethan Cabral who had nine points.
LOARA 66, SAVANNA 60 (OT): The Saxons (6-8) won the non-league game, battling back from a nine-point halftime deficit. Loara made 19 of 26 free throws and was led by 6-4 sophomore center Markus Toscano who scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Junior forward Andrew Romero added 20 points for Loara. Loara plays again on Monday Dec. 27 at 3 p.m. against Pioneer High School at Anaheim High in the Colony Holiday Tournament which features 16 teams throughout Southern California.
CORONA DEL MAR 45, SOUTH GATE 30: The Sea Kings recorded a victory at the Pirate Shootout Tournament at San Pedro High School. Dylan Rogers scored 10 points and Sanjay Tewari added eight points to lead CdM (12-1).
ESTANCIA 40, BOLSA GRANDE 32: Lewis Tate scored 16 points and Jaedon Hose-Shea eight points to lead the Eagles (10-4).
