CORONA DEL MAR 53, YORBA LINDA 43: CdM opened the season Thursday with a non-league victory led by Sanjay Tewari with 16 points. Hudson Bond, Matthya Djomby-Emyawe and George Bruening added seven points each for the Sea Kings.
Yorba Linda (2-1) was led by Jason Casacchia with 17 points and Jermari Dixon with 10 points.
CdM outscored Yorba Linda 15-11 in the final quarter to seal the victory.
COSTA MESA 73, WESTMINSTER 60: Gio Quero scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Aiden Spallone added 14 points to lead the Mustangs (2-4).
Costa Mesa also defeated Anaheim 73-28 on Wednesday night. Blake Wolf scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Mustangs. Spallone had 15 points and five rebounds and Quero scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds for Costa Mesa.
ST. JOHN BOSCO 71, BECKMAN 45: Jake Morrison scored 13 points and Dowon Kim 11 points to lead Beckman in the non-league game.
