BREA OLINDA 55, VALENCIA 54: The Wildcats rallied for a victory at home Tuesday night. Colin Na led Brea Olinda with 25 points. Garrett Brookman had 15 points and Reed McElroy had 10 assists to lead Brea Olinda (6-6).
EL DORADO 58, GARDEN GROVE 35: The Hawks (10-2) were led by Hudson Novak with 11 points and Cooper Bladow and Ty Carlson, who had 10 points each. El Dorado broke the game open with a 27-9 run in the second quarter.
CYPRESS 65, LOS ALAMITOS 49: The Centurions defeated their crosstown rival Tuesday night. Kody Papke led Cypress with a double double (12 points, 12 rebounds).
Devin Cunningham started his first game and scored 10 points, eight in the first quarter for Cypress (4-7).
“Jonah Kim controlled the tempo and had a great all around game with nine points, five rebounds and five assits,” said Coach Derek Mitchell. “I’m really proud of our guys. Being 3-7, we could have thrown in the towel, but our guys have shown their grit in practice and came to compete every day.”
Los Alamitos (8-4) was led by Jake, Petroff, who scored 16 points. Tyler Matthews and Niko Griset had 11 points each.
BECKMAN 68, IRVINE 53: The Patriots (6-6 overall) improved their Pacific Coast League record to 2-0 with the win Tuesday. Dowon Kim had 14 points, Miguel Llanes 13 points and Dylan Nguyen 10 points.
Irvine (6-6, 1-2) was led by Cooper Stearns with 20 points and Ryan Bugay with 12 points.
PORTOLA 64, LAGUNA HILLS 55: The Bulldogs (7-3, 2-0) were led by Devin Danial with 10 points, Colin Huang with nine points and Eugene Jung with eight points.
Laguna Hills (3-8, 0-2) was led by Dominic Bolton with 19 points and Jake Woodall with 10 points.
NORTHWOOD 74, ORANGE 32: Northwood (8-4) won a nonleague game at home. Justin Gee scored 21 points and Aditya Sheth added 20 points to lead the Timberwolves. Ryan Abaye had 10 points and four assists and Daniil Shaplov had seven points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks for Northwood.
UNIVERSITY 71, WOODBRIDGE 68: The Trojans captured a Pacific Coast League victory at Woodbridge. Michael Morizono scored 16 points, Joseph Purser had 14 points and McKay Nelson and Ali Wahedi 12 points each to lead Uni (7-8, 2-1).
SANTA FE 51, YORBA LINDA 48: The Mustangs (6-6) dropped a nonleague game at home. Owen Ishikawa scored 11 points to lead Yorba Linda.
