Junior Brenton Knapper, who led Colony’s boys basketball team to the championship of the Gary Raya So Cal Elite Classic, was named the tournament’s MVP Saturday night.
He was joined on the all-tournament team by teammates Denim Dawson and Kylan Bosswell.
Colony defeated Tesoro 57-53 in the championship game Saturday at Portola. Tesoro was trying to repeat as tournament champions.
Tesoro was represented by Kaden Garrett and Matt DeAngelo.
Also named to the team were Nolan Naess of Laguna Beach, Omair Memon of Yorba Linda, Jake Duthoy of El Dorado, Matt Herrod of San Clemente, Robert Giraldy of Portola and Amit Flint of Northwood.
