High school boys basketball is just around the corner and the field has been finalized for the Rumble For Rosecrans Avenue to be held at Sunny Hills and Norwalk high schools Nov. 18-23.
The 24 teams will be grouped into eight three-team pools, according to Sunny Hills Coach Joe Ok. Norwalk Coach Brent Campanelli is coordinating the Norwalk site.
Pool A will consist of Yorba Linda, Sunny Hills and Kennedy. Pool B will be Marina, Oak Hills and Carson.
Pool C will be Sonora, Barstow and Sante Fe. Pool D will be Canyon, Claremont and University. Pool E will be Serra, Norwalk and West Covina.
Pool F will be Warren, La Habra and Ayala. Pool G will include Beckman, El Dorado and Long Beach Jordan and Pool H will include Damien, Troy and Esperanza.
Opening round games on Monday, Nov. 18 will include Esperanza vs. Troy, 4:30 p.m. and Sunny Hills vs. Kennedy at 7:30 p.m. at Sunny Hills.
