University’s girls tennis team, ranked No. 1 in the CIF Division 1, is off to another fast start.
The Trojans have been led by Cami Brown, who was last year’s Orange County Register player of the year, according to Coach John Kessler.
University enters Tuesday’s match against No. 2 Peninsula with a 4-0 record.
University has defeated Corona del Mar 15-3 and Campbell Hall of Los Angeles 13-5.
“In addition to Brown, sophomore Jane Lee, senior Tiffany Carillo and sophomore Kamya Nair have been leading the team at singles,” Kessler said. “All- county players Emily Markus and Maya Wang are back at doubles along with Megan Bee and Therese Garcia.”
