When you are 1-3 and your next game is on the road good news is particularly welcome, and the Buena Park football team got some this week.
Safety/receiver Angel Guajardo, sidelined since week two, will be back on the field Friday night when the Coyotes travel to Murrieta Valley, unbeaten in four games and ranked 35th in the state by MaxPreps.
“I’m cleared to play and I’m looking forward to joining my team in our fight against Murrieta Valley this week,” Guajardo told OC Sports Zone.
Guajardo had an interception and a reception in the Coyotes’ first game of the season against Santa Ana but suffered a strained knee in practice the following Monday and has been sidelined since.
