SAN CLEMENTE 93, COSTA MESA 24: The Tritons captured a win at the Louis Macias Tournament at Santa Ana High School Tuesday night.
Bryan Blake (33 points), Andrew Stakston (nine points, 11 rebounds) and Deeter Hanson (nine points) led the Tritons in their season opener. San Clemente faces El Dorado Thursday at Santa Ana.
NEWPORT HARBOR 50, SAN JUAN HILLS 42: The Sailors (2-0) won their second straight game in the tournament. San Juan Hills was led by Cameron Goltara led San Juan Hills with 21 points. Rocco Jensen added nine points for the Stallions (0-1).

SANTA ANA 72, CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF MATH AND SCIENCE 60: Santa Ana (2-0) was led by Logan Rivera (20 points), Nate Magana (18 points) and Adam Chavez (17 points) in a non-league game. Santa Ana’s games are not part of the Luis Macias Tournament. The Saints are back in action Thursday at 7:25 p.m. vs Nova Academy at Santa Ana.

TESORO 68, LAGUNA HILLS 65: The Titans (1-0) were led by Owen Hatch, who had 18 points, three assists and three rebounds. Carson Hatch had 14 points and Max Draper 11 points and 10 rebounds.

LA HABRA 75, VILLA PARK 52: The Highlanders (2-0) were led by Josh Desatoff, who had 23 points and five rebounds. Acen Jimenez added 17 points and five assists, Richard Gonzalez had 13 points and Damien Ceballos 12 points. La Habra faces Orange Lutheran Wednesday night with a spot in the semifinals on the line.
GLENDORA 45, UNIVERSITY 37: Glendora (1-1) defeated University (0-2) in the consolation bracket of the Rumble on the Hill Tournament at Fullerton High School.
University jumped to an 8-4 lead before Glendora tied the game at 10-10 at the end of the first quarter. Glendora took the lead for good in the second quarter before University cut the lead to two points midway through the fourth quarter.
Glendora was led by seniors Tanner Grable and Max Hilgenfeldt with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Senior forward Josh Thio was University’s leading scorer with 12 points on four 3-pointers followed by sophomore center Lucas Haun (9 points) and junior forward Abdallah Shami (8 points). University will play Claremont at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday again at Fullerton.
