The Saints speedy receiver Damari Hall scored on an 80-yard catch and run to electrify the crowd, according to Coach Rick Curtis.

Lucas Wong scored from 15 yards out on a quarterback keeper in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring for Crean Lutheran (6-0, 1-0). Dillon Booth (five receptions, 90 yards) and Bryce Coleman (five receptions, 99 yards) were the Saints top receivers.

“The first defense held the Knights scoreless as Aaron Nicasio (nine tackles and two tackles for a loss) was all over the field for the Saints,” Curtis said. “Defensive lineman Anthony Jones, was solid against the run and pressured the Foothill quarterback throughout the evening. Aiden Smith led the Saints secondary with three solo tackles and help shut down the Foothill passing attack.”

Foothill (1-5, 0-1) scored two touchdowns late in the game on a 59-yard run by Aidan Faraj and a 10-yard run by Fysher Jamieson.

Crean Lutheran continues league play Friday vs. El Dorado at Valencia while Foothill plays at Laguna Hills.
