CREAN LUTHERAN 57, LA HABRA 53: Crean Lutheran went on a 14-3 run late in the second quarter to take a 34-32 lead and held on for the win to move into sole possession of first place in the league.

CYPRESS 61, CANYON 60: The Centurions (17-9, 3-3) won their second straight league game. Brandon Benjamin of Canyon had 13 points in the first quarter but Cypress switched defenses and got back in the game, according to Cypress Coach Derek Mitchell.
Gavin Kroll knocked down two free throws to put the Centurions up one point with 20 seconds.
King Birdsong scored 14 points and made 3 of 3 three-pointers to lead Cypress. Ryan Gov and Isaac Vergara had 11 points each. Benjamin led Canyon (19-7, 4-2) with 31 points.
PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE
IRVINE 66, SAGE HILL 37: Cooper Stearns scored 26 points to lead Irvine in a battle of two undefeated league teams. Irvine moved into sole possession of first place with the win.

PORTOLA 59, UNIVERSITY 56: On senior night at University, Portola opened up a 25-5 lead early in the second quarter. University fought back to trail 30-24 at half and went up 56-53 with under two minutes to play. Portola scored the last six points of the game to escape with a hard earned league victory.
Portola (9-15, 2-4) was led by senior guard Brady Kim with 24 points and four 3-pointers. Kim scored 14 points in the decisive fourth quarter. Junior forward Max Paulsen finished with 15 points, 14 in the first half.
University (5-15, 2-4) fought back with Isaac Evans dropping 23 points and five 3-pointers including two 4-point plays. The senior guard also had nine rebounds and six steals. Evans has now scored 800 points in his University career.
Senior guard Shervin Moarrefian scored 15 points while senior forward Faris Harb scored a career-high 11 points including three 3-pointers. Senior post player Eli Pretto had five points, 12 rebounds, four assists and five steals for the Trojans.

SOUTH COAST LEAGUE
SAN CLEMENTE 48, TESORO 40: Porter Hansen scored 19 points and Christian Fernandez 18 points to lead San Clemente (19-5, 4-1). Porter Hansen joined the 1,000 point club for the Tritons.
TRINITY LEAGUE
ST. JOHN BOSCO 77, SANTA MARGARITA 67: Dallas Washington scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds, Drew Anderson had 14 points and seven rebounds, Kaiden Bailey 13 points and had seven assists and Rodney Westmoreland 10 points to lead Santa Margarita (21-3, 5-1).
JSERRA 70, ORANGE LUTHERAN 42: The Lions (19-5, 5-2) were led by BJ Davis-Ray, who scored 23 points, 13 in the final quarter in Friday’s game at JSerra. Davis-Ray made five of the Lions 10 3-pointers. Brannon Martinsen had 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds, Dominic Bolton had nine points and Earl Bryson seven points and a team high seven assists.
FREEWAY LEAGUE
YORBA LINDA 76, TROY 64: Yorba Linda (18-6, 5-1) was led by Rocco Gaffoglio who had 37 points and made six 3-pointers. Holdin Nagin added 15 points and Jordan Laws 14 points for the Mustangs. Justin Baibacal led Troy (6-20, 1-5) with 33 points.

CAPO VALLEY CHRISTIAN 80, AVALON 25: CVC (20-4) was led by Michael Ahern who had 22 points. Matthew Ahern and Benji Makelela had 16 points each.

VILLA PARK 70, COLONY 61: The Spartans (17-8) were led by Tristan Griffin who had 21 points and made four 3-pointers. Diego Perez had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Mal Johnson 18 points and two 3-pointers.
SAN JUAN HILLS 100, LOS AMIGOS 67: The Stallions (18-7) were led by Mason Hodges, who had 24 points. Adam Aziz added 23 points and Rocco Jensen 14 points.
