TUSTIN 61, GARDEN GROVE 39: Brandon Hampton scored 18 points and had seven rebounds, Yuri Klines 16 points and Ethan Contreras 10 assists to lead Tustin (6-1) Monday night.

NEWPORT HARBOR 75, EL MODENA 38: The Sailors (3-2) opened the tourney Monday with a win. Jack Berry scored 17 points and Owen Saukkola scored 16 points.

SUNNY HILLS 56, LA QUINTA 36: The Lancers (5-3) were led by Ze Brien Watkins who had 16 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists and Nathan Johnson who had 13 points and eight rebounds. Sunny Hills meets Godinez Wednesday.

SAN CLEMENTE 92, CHURCHIE (AUSTRALIA) 61: Christian Fernandez had 34 points, five 3-pointers, seven steals and eight assists, Porter Hansen 25 points and Chris Tolliver 10 points to lead San Clemente.

TESORO 80, EL TORO 75: The Titans (5-1) were led by Owen Hatch, who had 17 points and five rebounds, Max Draper who had 17 points and eight rebounds and Randell Wandji who had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

JSERRA 73, MISSION VIEJO 34: The Lions were led by BJ Davis-Ray who scored 27 points and Earl Bryson, who had 11 points.

NON-LEAGUE

FOUNTAIN VALLEY 94, UNIVERSITY 44: Fountain Valley broke open a five-point game late in the second quarter to cruise to a victory over University Monday night.

The Barons (5-1) were led by senior guard Aaron DeSantiago who had 27 points including five 3-pointers. Three other teammates finished in double figures: Mikes Dayley (16 points, four threes), Devin Payne (15 points) and Kenneth Nguyen (11 points).

University (3-3) was led by senior point guard Isaac Evans with a dozen points.

YORBA LINDA 53, CHAPARRAL 45: Yorba Linda was led by Jordan Laws, who had 16 points. Elyas Hasseem had 11 points and Rocco Gaffogio 10 points.

IRVINE 63, SANTA ANA 40: Irvine (6-1) was led by Cooper Stearns who had 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Felix Bublitz had eight points, two rebounds and two assists and Holden Stearns scored eight points for the Vaqueros who won their sixth in a row.

Santa Ana (3-5) was led by Jayden Carter, who had 13 points.
