Pacifica High School’s football team evened its overall record to 3-3 with a 42-0 victory over University in the first game of Omicron League play Friday night at Uni.
Mariner quarterback Noah Lewis accounted for four of the Mariners’ six touchdowns with two rushing (28 yards and one yard) and two passing (23 yards to Aaron Mora and 37 yards to Addison Adams).
Lewis has nine touchdowns since returning from an injury.
Pacifica amassed 251 yards on the ground with Miguel Campos running for 114 yards on eight carries including a 64-yard score. Pacifica forced four University turnovers (three interceptions and a fumble recovery). Armando Torres scored the other touchdown on a 74-yard punt return.
Mariners kicker Ethan Mclaughlin had another perfect night on special teams.
Carl Oldham led University (3-3 overall) with four catches for 40 yards and returned six kickoff returns for a total of 105 yards. Damari Carter carried the ball 16 times for 35 yards.
