High school seniors ready for Santa Ana Prep Basketball Showcase Friday night

Girls and boys high school basketball players from the six Santa Ana Unified School District programs will take part in the third annual Santa Ana Prep Showcase on Friday, March 15 at Godinez.

The event is presented by the RAYA Foundation run by Leon Raya and Godinez High School. Girls game begins at 6:30 p.m. and the boys game at 8 p.m.

There will also be a three-point shooting contest beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Oilicec Fernandez, Santa Ana Valley and Abby Quero, Segerstrom.

BOYS: Adrian Gonzalez; Christopher Trotter, Saddleback; Raven Quintero, Santa Ana;
Daniel Gonzalez, Santa Ana Valley; and Gilbert Vargas, Segerstrom.

The boys away team will be coached by Godinez head coach Robert Morgan and the home team will be coached by Zack Johnson from Santa Ana and Zack Perez from Santa Ana Valley.

Sean Barnet of Santa Ana Valley will coach the girls away team. Shontya Pouncey of Segerstrom will coach the girls home team.
