CdM baseball team belts three home runs in non-league win over Segerstrom

Corona del Mar’s baseball team evened its record at 4-4 with an 11-0 non-league victory over Segerstrom Saturday at Segerstrom.

Jake Garcia (1-0) got the win on the mound for the Sea Kings. Ethan Watson and Van Sidebotham got the scoring going in the top of the first with back to back home runs. according to Coach Kevin McCaffrey.

Max Lane also had a home run in the third inning for the Sea Kings. CdM had 13 hits on the day.

Tyson Korkmaz, Ethan Watson, Van Sidebotham and Dillon Gomez all had two hits for the Sea Kings. CdM is back in action on Tuesday, March 8 at 3 p.m. against Capo Valley Christian on the Sea Kings home field.

Segerstrom (3-7) hosts San Juan Hills Wednesday at 3 p.m.
