NORTHWOOD 67, WESTERN 56: The Timberwolves won their seventh in a row to start the season with their second victory at the Loara Tournament Wednesday night. Ryan Abaye scored 14 points, Diogo Vierea had 12 points and Adityah Sheth 11 points for Coach Christian Manalo’s team, which started the season last week by winning the Rancho Alamitos Tournament.
Northwood will play Dana Hills Friday night.
SAN CLEMENTE 67, SOUTH TORRANCE 38: The Tritons improved their record to 6-1 with a victory at the Mariko Memorial Classic in Irvine. Asher Gardiner scored 11 points and Tanner Mehrens, Jauden Schnabi and Alec Grace had 10 points each.
CORONA DEL MAR 65, SANTA FE 43: The Sea Kings were led by Sanjay Tewari, who scored 19 points and Dylan Rogers, who had 15 points. Hudson Bond and Derek Curry added 10 points each for CdM (3-0).
