“I felt we played a very nice game on the defensive end,” said Woodbridge Coach Keith Clarkson. “We were able to jump out to an early lead (16-8 after the first quarter) and then was able to hold the lead. I felt Ashley Cheng had a great game defending their top scorer for the majority of the game. This team is very well balanced and we have many players that can contribute every night. We had seven ifferent players score.”

Woodbridge (11-3) moves on to the second round Saturday to face the winner of the West Covina-Twentynine Palms game that will be played Thursday night.
