Woodbridge pitcher Will Rudy made a decision last week.
Woodbridge pitcher-infielder Will Rudy committed to Cal Poly Pomona on Friday, according to Warrior baseball coach Ryan Brucker.
“They have recruited him to be a two way player, so he will be pitching and playing infield for the Broncos,” Brucker said.
“I am extremely proud of Will. He has worked very hard and this is a great opportunity for him to compete at the next level. Cal Poly Pomona has an outstanding baseball program and I have no doubt he will excel both in the classroom and on the field.”
“It was a good fit both academically and athletically,” Rudy said in a statement for OC Sports Zone. “The baseball program is amazing. Both coach (Randy) Betten and Coach (Joe) Villa were awesome and really want what is best for me.”
