Two Northwood High School athletes make commitments to compete in college

Northwood High School swimmers Christopher Leung and Addison Cadena celebrated their college commitments Wednesday during National Signing Day at the school.

Leung committed to Northwestern University and Cadena to Cal State University Monterey Bay, according to Brandon Emery, Northwood co-athletic director.

“Northwood Athletics celebrated our Fall National Letter of Intent,” Emery said. “This event is where we honor our senior athletes who are committing to play at the collegiate level. Sierra (Wang, co-athletic director), their coaches and ASB did a great job celebrating these special student-athletes.”
