Tustin coach Ringo Bossenmeyer (kneeling), shown in a game last year, got his 400th career coaching victory Tuesday night.
Tustin boys basketball coach Ringo Bossenmeyer celebrated his 400th varsity career coaching victory Tuesday night as the Tillers defeated St. Margaret’s 48-37 in the Tartan Classic.
“I can’t say enough about how great an educator and coach Ringo is.” said Tustin Athletic Director Thomas Giebe. “From a coaching perspective, I haven’t seen another coach in any sport who gets as much out of each of his athletes as Coach Bossenmeyer.
“We are truly lucky to have him and look forward to 400 more wins in the future.”
Tustin (4-2) faces Newport Harbor in tournament play Thursday at 6 p.m.
