Tesoro’s boys basketball team celebrates after winning the Sea View League title outright Friday night.
Tesoro’s boys basketball team captured the program’s sixth league basketball title in 17 years defeating Dana Hills 52-44 Friday night.
The Titans (18-5, 7-0) were led by Matt DeAngelo who had 16 points. Noah Honetschlager had 12 points and five blocks.Tyler Broughton had seven points and nine rebounds for the Titans.
Tesoro is ranked No. 2 in the CIF 2A divison.
Tesoro plays San Juan Hills Monday, Jan. 28. The program will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2009 CIF championship team at 6:30 p.m. followed by the game.
