Sister and brother Carissa and Ethan Qureshi from Portola High School each captured titles in separate competitions Saturday at the Girls and Boys CIF Individual Tournaments, according to Portola Athletic Director Peter Abe.
Carissa Qureshi won the girls title in the 116-pound title while Ethan Qureshi took the crown in the boys 132-pound class, Abe said.
The girls championships were held at San Dimas High School and the boys event at Etiwanda High School. The two wrestlers now advance to the Master’s Meet.
