Santa Ana High soccer star Saul Ortuno was recognized Wednesday on campus during a ceremony by CIF commissioner Rob Wigod.
Wigod visited the campus to award Ortuno the CIF Spirit of Sport Award and a $500 scholarship.
Ortuno had many big games this past season including his hat trick in the Saints 7-1 victory over Calvary Chapel which was Coach Joe Penaflor’s 299th career victory.
Ortuno has not made a commitment yet about his college decision, according to Athletic Director Brian Lillie.
