Santa Ana High School’s boys soccer team defeated Saddleback 2-0 on a rainy Monday night at Santa Ana Stadium to capture the Orange Coast League championship.
It’s the 30th league title for the program. Santa Ana has won ninebleague titles in 10 years. CIF playoffs were not held in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.
Roberto Estrada scored both goals for the Saints, who have outscored league opponents 29-2. Santa Ana now gears up for the start of the CIF playoffs next week. Saints wrap up its regular season on Wed. on the road at Estancia.
Santa Ana is ranked No. 2 in this week’s CIF Division 4 poll.
